Title: Commercial & Claim Manager (South)
Location: London, UK
Salary: Guide - £80,000 to £90,000 Basic salary
Discretionary Bonus scheme

Responsibilities:


• Reporting to the Commercial Director.
• Commercial management of a £20m turnover region for a respected building sub contractor
• Management of 5 surveying staff 
• Helping with dispute and claims resolution, avoidance  
• Developing collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, group companies and suppliers to achieve successful project outcomes and best practice.
• Mentoring of junior staff.


Experience Required


• Degree qualified in quantity surveying, additional legal qualifications may be advantageous 
• Previous experience of managing £10m+ upwards
• Extensive knowledge of contracts in particular JCT and NEC

• An interest in dispute resolution and law 

• Someone enthusiastic and ambitious who can share in the long term success of the company.
• A confident communicator with oral and written English language skills.
• At least part of your background is likely to have been spent with a main contractor or specialist
subcontractor.
