A well-regarded and growing property consultancy is seeking a qualified Rating Surveyor to join its established Business Rates / Rating Advisory team in London.
The role offers exposure to a high-quality and varied client base, advising on business rates appeals, assessments and strategic rating advice across a broad range of commercial property assets. You will work closely with experienced practitioners in a supportive, professional and friendly environment that values technical excellence and investing in the development of its staff.
The role:

Advising clients on business rates liabilities, assessments and mitigation strategies.

Preparing and progressing Check, Challenge and Appeal cases.

Inspecting properties and analysing rental evidence and comparable data.

Preparing clear, concise rating advice and submissions.

Managing instructions end-to-end and maintaining strong client relationships.

Keeping up to date with rating legislation, case law and market developments.
About you:

MRICS qualified (essential).

Experience in business rates / rating advisory.

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Confident communicator with excellent written English.

Commercially minded, organised and client-focused.

Team player with a proactive approach to work.
