Description

Director – Delay Expert Witness & Advisory

London

Our client is a next-generation expert witness and advisory consultancy built by senior practitioners who’ve done it at the very top of the market. They currently seek a Director with expertise within delay analysis to help shape the firm’s next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

As a Director, you’ll sit at the heart of the business: Trusted by clients. Respected by peers. Heard by the board

Supporting the head of the Delay practise, you’ll run significant matters, help steer strategy, and play a meaningful role in growing the business, without bureaucracy, politics, or being buried under layers of management.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading complex expert witness and advisory assignments (delay and related)
  • Acting as a key client interface with top-tier law firms, funders, and corporates
  • Supporting the Managing Directors in shaping service lines, standards, and strategy
  • Mentoring and developing consultants
  • Contributing to business development in a way that feels natural to you

Who This Is For

You’re likely already operating at Associate Director or Director level in a recognised expert witness consultancy, and:

  • You are acting as an expert - testimony experience not essential
  • Well qualified and / or chartered
  • You are well-regarded by clients and peers
  • You combine technical authority with commercial judgement
  • You enjoy responsibility and autonomy
  • You want to be part of a leadership group where your voice actually matters
  • You care about quality, reputation, and long-term value - not just short-term wins

What the client offers

  • A genuinely senior role
  • Clear path to progress to Managing Director
  • Entrepreneurial culture
  • A best in class team that supports your onward development
  • Competitive remuneration with upside aligned to growth
