An international contracting and project development organisation seeks to strengthen its in-house commercial and contract administration teams, due to a growing portfolio of projects in the UK. This role would be working within a team of first class team of professionals that oversee the successful delivery and close out of major schemes largely within renewables, energy and civil engineering.

Responsibilities

•Remeasurement, Contract Management, pre and post contract quantity surveying on major industrial and civil engineering projects
•Responsible for the remeasurement of selected subcontract packages
•Claims and contract administration / management
•Establishing necessary documentation and records all site related changes/deviations
•Working closely with the Commercial Manager to assess commercial risks and opportunities

Requirements

•Ideally a Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor with 5 years + industry experience
•Experience in remeasuring work packages for construction of major projects
•Good commercial acumen and knowledge of applicable remeasurement rules
•Strong Team Player and work ethic, good communication skills
•Assertive, diligent, good command of English language
•Ability to work under pressure and manage / avoid conflict
•Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) aware
