North Gate Executive Search are happy to announce an extremely exciting position for an Oil & Gas company based in Great Yarmouth. This company has grown throughout the years and continues to drive its success every year by winning new contracts and extending projects with existing clients. This position is a fantastic opportunity which could suit either a newly qualified Health & Safety professional or someone who has already gained experience in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of high-quality plans, inspection & test plans.
- Consulting professional advice to all parties for onshore and offshore projects.
- Overseeing certification standards in line with current industry standards and ensuring quality processes for the manufacture, assembly, test, inspection and maintenance of equipment.
- Continuously drive quality throughout our business entity from client aftercare.
- Development and implementation of a business continuity system.
- Maintain proper and timely assessment of risks to health and safety.
- Implementation of measures and arrangements identified as necessary from the assessments.
Requirements
- Degree educated or proven experience within a relevant position.
- Holds at least a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent level 6 qualification and potentially holds qualifications in quality and environment.
- Familiar with oil and gas industry regulations.
- Have experience in writing policies and procedures.
- Experience within ISO 9001, 45001 & 14001 Lead Auditor qualifications.
- Have practical knowledge of machining and fabrication processes, oilfield equipment, project management, engineering, and quality assurance & control.
- Use of Microsoft Office and data analysis software
- Must have a clean driving license and full UK passport.
