Overview

We are currently engaged by a respected boutique construction consultancy that has developed a reputation in London for successful delivery of complex building projects. As part of their strategy they are looking to develop their project management capability, with a focus on its core project strengths, in particular across the Life Sciences, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Commercial and Residential sectors.

We are looking to identify a Project Manager who can work diligently with clients, co-ordinate and help drive the successful delivery of important projects as a consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Director
  • Working on a range of schemes across Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial, Technology
  • Working closely with clients and colleagues to both lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for cradle to grave delivery, and support on larger commissions, taking responsibility for an aspect of a project working in a larger team.
  • Passionate about client care, ensuring projects are delivered to time, budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Helping to establish project targets including time, cost, technical milestones
  • Identifying quality, safety, health and environment issues
  • Support in setting up effective project governance
  • Project planning input
  • Procurement advice.
  • Preparing formal project progress reports
  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages

Experience & Attributes

  • The role suits someone who enjoys a flexible, respectful, trusting environment
  • Ideally some of your experience will stem from working in a consultancy environment
  • Degree qualified and Ideally professionally qualified MAPM or working towards.
  • Experience of managing projects as a consultant over £10m in value in the building sector
  • Personality fit is important, ideally someone who enjoys work, is career minded and mindful of their teammates.
  • Someone who feels they could contribute to an ambitious growing team
  • Good communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Ideally a career demonstrating progression and loyalty.
