Operations Programme Manager (AI / Technology Platform)

Salary:                         £40,000 to £60,000 Basic salary plus benefits

Location:                     London or Manchester hybrid (3 days a week)

Experience:                 Ideally 2 to 5 years' experience

For this role, we are looking for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-moving environment and would be excited to play a part in helping the founders build an innovative company from the ground up.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional role in many ways. We are looking for a bright, commercially minded all-rounder, who is excited by technology and industry, enjoys solving problems and is willing to get involved wherever needed.

One day you may be helping improve their AI platform, the next supporting marketing campaigns, speaking with customers, analysing data or helping develop internal processes.

You'll work closely with founders, stakeholders, suppliers, experts, advisors and peers, gaining exposure to product development, operations, technical analysis, sales, marketing and business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily and weekly delivery cadence, maintain programme plans, coordinate stakeholders
  • Maintaining key internal processes are disciplined as the team grows.
  • Supporting the ongoing development and testing of the AI platform
  • Working alongside developers, AI specialists and external technology partners
  • Assisting with product improvements and user experience feedback
  • Helping create marketing content, presentations and social media campaigns
  • Conducting market and competitor research
  • Supporting customer onboarding and user engagement
  • Analysing platform usage and business performance data
  • Helping develop internal processes as the business scales
  • Assisting with sales opportunities, proposals and client communications
  • Taking ownership of projects and continuously look for ways to improve how we operate

About You

Our client is as interested in attitude and personality, but you may have studied in IT, Technology, Construction, Healthcare, Life sciences, Financial services or the Legal sectors. Subjects of interest may be

  • Business / Marketing
  • Economics/Surveying/Accountancy/regulatory 
  • Mathematics
  • Physics

You will ideally have:

  • 2–5 years' professional experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • Customer relationship skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Curiosity around AI and emerging technologies
  • Confidence working independently
  • High attention to detail
  • A proactive, "can-do" attitude
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A willingness to learn new skills quickly with the capacity to take on new qualifications
