Bringing Architecture Expertise into High-Stakes Construction Disputes

North Gate is working with a respected consultancy specialising in construction dispute resolution and expert witness services across architecture, delay, and quantum.

We’re looking for a seasoned Architect ready to pivot into expert witness and litigation support work—someone with deep technical expertise, a sharp analytical mindset, and a real interest in construction law.

The Role

  • Step into a leadership-track role focused on architectural dispute resolution, claims analysis, and expert witness consultancy.
  • Work across complex, high-profile construction disputes—helping shape outcomes in court and arbitration.
  • Build your profile in a growing, respected business with full mentoring and one-on-one career development.

What You’ll Need

  • Registered Architect (RIBA) with 15+ years’ experience in private practice.
  • Proven expertise across design, technical delivery, specifications, and site management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC).
  • Experience managing architectural projects from concept through to delivery.
  • A sharp, analytical mind and a genuine interest in the legal side of construction.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Why Join our client?

  • Work with a respected specialist consultancy on technically challenging, high-value disputes.
  • Receive hands-on support, mentoring, and structured development to grow into an expert witness.
  • Be part of a friendly, professional team at the intersection of architecture, construction, and law.

If you’re an Architect ready to step into something new, with real influence and long-term career potential, we’d love to have a confidential conversation.
