Description

Join a collaborative, people-first consultancy shaping the future of property

Our client is one of the world’s most respected independent real estate consultancies in the UK but what truly sets them apart is not just their footprint, it’s their culture.

This is a business built on trust, partnership and integrity, where people are genuinely valued and encouraged to thrive.

The Opportunity

As part of continued growth, they are seeking a charterer surveyor and commercial Valuer to join their expanding Glasgow Valuations team. The role can be tailored to suit the right individual and offers exposure to a broad range of high-quality valuation work across Scotland and the wider northern region.

You’ll work within a highly engaged, supportive team delivering valuations across all mainstream commercial sectors. While loan security valuations for established lenders will form a core part of the role, you’ll also collaborate on wider advisory projects and benefit from working alongside colleagues nationally and internationally.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated valuer who values teamwork, professional growth, and being part of a firm where people genuinely enjoy working together.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering accurate, professional loan security valuations
  • Preparing clear, well-reasoned valuation reports
  • Working collaboratively within the valuations team and wider business
  • Building relationships across commercial investment, residential and regional teams
  • Using industry valuation software (Argus Enterprise, Argus Developer, KEL, MRI)
  • Supporting fee proposals and managing instructions
  • Maintaining high professional standards and CPD in line with RICS requirements

About you

  • MRICS qualified (minimum 3 years PQE)
  • RICS Registered Valuer Experience across UK commercial property and secured lending valuations
  • Comfortable working with valuation software (Argus, KEL, MRI)
  • A team-oriented professional who enjoys building relationships and representing their firm positively
  • Someone who values collaboration, integrity, and continuous development

What’s on offer

  • Competitive salary package
  • A genuinely inclusive, people-centric culture
  • High-quality work with respected clients
  • Strong support for professional development
  • The opportunity to grow your profile within a globally recognised consultancy
  • A collaborative environment where your voice matters

You’ll be joining a collaborative environment that champions individuality and gives professionals the autonomy to shape both their careers and the wider business.

You’ll be supported to perform at your best, recognised for your contribution, and encouraged to build meaningful relationships — internally and with clients — in a firm that prioritises long-term partnerships over short-term wins.

If you’re looking to join a business that combines professional excellence with a warm, progressive culture — where you’re trusted, supported, and encouraged to shape your future — this could be a standout next step.
