Project Engineer - Subsea Engineering (Oil and Gas)

£40,000 to £50,000 Basic Salary plus benefits package

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our clients established team as they continue to expand their operations in the subsea oil and gas industry. Responsibilities:

•Managing large-scale projects in subsea operations, infrastructures, and excavation, ensuring successful delivery within project timelines and budgets.
•Utilising strong project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor project activities, while effectively managing resources and mitigating risks.
•Collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment
•Applying your understanding of subsea operations, infrastructure, excavation techniques to drive operational excellence and quality assurance.
•Both leading and contributing to contract management, procurement, and negotiations
•Leveraging your analytical abilities to proactively identify and resolve project challenges
•Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
•Promoting and encouraging knowledge-sharing amongst the team.

Requirements:

•Degree qualified in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Additional memberships and affiliations in project management or engineering may be helpful.
•Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects or packages of projects in subsea engineering and infrastructure or excavation within the oil and gas industry.
•Strong commercial acumen and experience in contract management and procurement
•Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
•Solid problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
•Demonstrable ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
•Ideally someone demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented mindset
•Familiarity with project management software and methodologies.
